Yesterday Finley and Lindsay went to see the wonderful Dr. Dawson to check on the progress of Finley's weight and skin color. We are happy to say that she went from 4 lbs. 12 oz. on Friday to 4lbs. 15 oz. on Monday. A perfect match to the 1 oz. per day that the NICU doctor wanted to see. So as Finley is sleeping now, she should be right at 5 lbs. Such good news. Her jaundice is also non-existent as she now has a normal skin color. We can also tell she is growing up as she is becoming more and more alert during the day (You can read this to also say she isn't sleeping as much as she was!) It was bed at 8:30 tonight in preparation for the long night ahead.
Tomorrow, our little girl will be 2 weeks old. Where does the time go?
