Happy Halloween!

Bryson had school this morning, and so last night I stayed up late baking cupcakes and icing them for their Halloween party at school. They had pizza, got to wear their costumes, and they trick-or-treated around to the different classrooms as well. I had asked the teacher if it was okay to add a little more sugar and add the cupcakes in the mix. She said they were a big hit. I only got a few pictures of Bryson this morning in his costume, but will add more this weekend from trick-or-treating tonight, and then will also have some of Finley in her costume at that point too. This year we were invited to join one of Bryson's little friends trick-or-treating, and he is old enough to understand the concept, so I'm really looking forward to it! Bryson is a golfer this year. He does have a club that goes with this outfit, but I didn't send it to school for the obvious reasons. More pictures to come, but enjoy these for now, and have a Happy Halloween! :)

Growing Up

Over the last few months both Bryson and Finley seem to have grown up a ton! Finley is now pulling up on anything and everything, and cruises everywhere. She is a very curious soul and loves to check everything out. She is now saying 'Dada, dog and yay' and knows when you're coming after her, that it's funny if she takes off crawling as fast as she can to get away, and then laughs when we get to her and pick her up. She also claps and waves occasionally, although definitely not on command. She's a sweetheart!!



Bryson was just recently potty trained the weekend before last, and has not had one accident since the second day of potty training. He is doing really good with it so far, although I know we're not completely in the clear yet. He still wears a pull-up at nap time and bed time, and is reluctant to go into public restrooms sometimes, although he has done it. I personally don't blame him too much for not wanting to go in a public bathroom!! Below are some of the rewards he got with his potty training, and we went to do different things along the way when he filled a row of stickers on his potty chart. This Friday we will be taking him to see a movie at the movie theater as his last reward. He does love wearing his Spiderman underwear as well as Thomas the Train underwear, and of course Cars underwear too!!

My sister and I decided to get the 3 cousins together one morning and try and do our own pictures. I wanted some for Finley's 9 month mark, and for Bryson's 3 year mark. Courtney wanted some of Eisley since she's still little and growing like a weed. We did these in early September, and just got together a few props to use and took them in Nicholas and Courtney's back yard. They turned out pretty good. Here are a few of my favorite pictures (beware - there are a lot of them)!

Mexico

At the end of September Mike and I had planned a trip for the two of us to go to Mexico for 3 nights. We were so ready for a chance to spend some time alone and just relax! We were sad to be leaving the kids, but we knew we needed to get away. We had a great time!
